Phase 2
Before departing the journey
Molar Removal & Bracket Installation

---------- Phase 1 took me abt 1 month ----------

Molar Removal
29.11.2017
The day to remove my upper molar.
Since the lesson I got from Glory dental, I am more confident on Eric Dental.
As Dr. Ng indeed very patient and careful during the checkup.
I do not feel any pain at all when he removing my molar teeth,
until I back home when the anesthetic faded.

I think the yellow stuff is the platelet that ensures wound recovery.

To be frank,
About 2-3 hours after the teeth removal is quite suffering.
I keep feeling the blood taste in mouth,
I'm not able to eat hard or chewy food.
I can only eat cold stuffs like bean curd and ice cream, because they are easy to swallow and the coldness can help to solidify the bloody wound and promote recovery. To some extent it also reduces my pain.

The 2nd day, I can still feel the pain. On the 3rd day, it was not so painful anymore, no pain as long as I don't purposely touch the wound by my tongue. Overall, it took me about 2 weeks to fully recover.

FYI,
Upper and Lowe molar will not be removed on the same day, as well as bracket installation.

Bracket Installation

Based on my memory, I put on the upper bracket (without wire) at the end of December 2017.
Because bracket installation is really time-consuming, thus it's better to set upper and lower installation on separate appointment.

I remember my mouth is needed to keep open for 30mins, I felt very dry and sour, but it's not painful.

Besides, my Dr. tells me to put upper first so that I can get used to the feeling, (bite and sleep with brackets).

By the time I recovered from molar removal and finish installed both brackets (with wires),
It has already reach the mid/end of January 2018.

To be continued... ... ... ...
